In 2006 Danielle, a Long Island native, was literally given the gift of yoga. After two years of instruction her teacher Lilly asked if she could certify Danielle as a Hatha yoga instructor before she went away to college. She trained through Lilly Leon's school, Om Shanti Yoga privately and obtained a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certification. Shortly after, she left for the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams and founded the Good Vibes Yoga Club where she taught free classes weekly for four years. With a dedicated following, the club flourished to be one of the most well populated groups on campus.
Danielle started teaching at Frog Lotus Yoga in June of 2009 and hasn't stopped since! She is now an Alumni of MCLA with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Education. In the summer time she teaches empowerment to young women through yoga at the Girls Leadership Institute. She is a pre-school teacher at the Bennington Early Childhood Center and is excited to share yoga with her four and five year old students. She recently completed Frog Lotus Studio's Yoga Teacher Training focusing on Vinyasa and is inspired to teach from the soul, and sneak some yoga philosophy in along the way, with another 200-hour training under her belt!
In her ever-dwindling spare time she enjoys reading Indian philosophy and folklore, eating popcorn, and hanging with her kitty cat, Sly, who meets her at the door when she comes home.
