I grew up in the area and began practicing yoga about 10 years ago. One of my first teachers was Jacqueline Heisel. I fell in love with yoga and it has been critical part of my life ever since. I realized just how critical it was a little over a year ago when I was able to give birth to my son naturally, using the tools I had learned in yoga. It was then that I realized I needed to share what I had learned with others. While in college, I came home to be at the grand opening of Frog Lotus Yoga and I thought it was the most beautiful studio I had ever practiced in. I hoped that some day I would be able to teach in this space.
So here I am…after traveling about for the past few years, I have settled back in the Berkshires. I have just completed the teacher training at FLY in May of 2009 and I am excited about my new found career!
Yoga has given me the opportunity to connect with my body and my being in such profound ways. My goal as a teacher is to pass on these discoveries and abilities to others so that they may feel the joy and completeness that I have felt and continue to feel every day.
