I am leading the fast paced life but know how to slow down to share my yoga practice with anyone ready to smile, breathe, and sink in to their asana practice. I have studied various types of yoga including Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, and Yin but my teaching is focused on Hatha Yoga Interdisciplinary, using the physical aspect of yoga to create balance in a busy life style.
Amongst working and studying full-time, my passion for nature though outdoor activities such as hiking, bicycling, and rock climbing heavily influence my mind-body-spirit connection and practice of yoga. Being a firm advocate for the holistic benefits of yoga, I have incorporated the practice into my life by using my personal yoga practice to take breaks from my academic life of graduate school. I love keeping my practice playful! You might see her in a yoga pose on top of a mountain, in the river or under the trees.
I am a student and teacher in all aspects of life! I see the value in practice and learning on the mat and in life. In August 2008, I completed the yoga teacher training program at Frog Lotus Yoga with Vidya and Jennifer and have been teaching actively since. I am teaching several classes locally, supporting others as they journey to find their own mind-body-spirit connection. I look forward to seeing you in class!
