I first found my yogic path as a means of relieving deep stress and anxiety. In September of 2007, I started working as a receptionist at Frog Lotus for Jacqueline, and eventually managed the studio during Jennifer's travels. In the summer of 2009, I completed my long-time goal of becoming a yoga teacher. I especially enjoy teaching Restorative Yoga, Hatha, and Slow Flow Yoga styles. I thoroughly believe in the healing, transformative, and life giving qualities of yoga. I am constantly in awe of the power of this practice; as a form of physical fitness, of health and well being, of community and of spirituality.
I am an alum of Williams College, where I received a double major in Biology and Psychology with Honors and completed a concentration in Neuroscience. After college I began pursuing a career as a certified nurse midwife, but I have recently found my calling in a more holistic and community minded approach to treating new families as I have always dreamed. I am currently seeking to complete my trainings as a lactation counselor, and a birth and postpartum doula. The birth of my son Elliot in the summer of 2010 further inspired my career goals and my practice. Being a mother has opened my heart to gratitude on a level I could have never imagined before - he is my biggest inspiration.
