"This is an intense, amazing journey, and I cannot imagine taking in a place more beautiful than this."
-Kristy Eckhart Wagner, E. Powell, Ohio
To any Yogi's that are considering partaking in a YTT, I would highly recommend the course in Costa Rica. The location was ideal, with the best yoga studio I have ever seen! Some of the benefits I felt from this well put together course were a deeper understanding about yoga and the yogic philosophy than I could have ever imagined, the most beautiful nature that I have ever laid eyes on and a lasting feeling of deeper peace. My biggest credits to Vidya who is one of the most knowledgeable teachers that I have ever met and an inspiring Yogi.
Mandy Pelly, Renmark, South Australia
The experience at the Yoga Teacher Training in Costa Rica was beautiful and unforgettable, to say the least. There was a perfect balance between the challenge of learning new things, improving our own practice and giving us the confidence to teach. Thank you again Vidya for sharing with us your knowledge, experience and energy in such a clear, pleasant and professional way. All this combined with moments of recreation, fun and relaxation in an amazing natural setting and the spectacular collaboration of the wonderful hosts of La Diosa, plus their friendly and helpful team and staff. Every detail was thought of to perfection making every moment flow. It was a gateway to many positive changes in our lives. Thank you to everyone who was a part of it, for such gift!

Crickets chirping, monkeys howling, birds calling; what a perfect environment in which to practice yoga. When I signed up for the yoga teachers training in Costa Rica, I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful setting. La Diosa is an oasis in an already beautiful jungle. Walking along the beach at sunrise sets the mood for meditation at the beautiful Goddess Garden. Whether in down dog or triangle pose, the sights & sounds of this paradise infiltrate your senses. This backdrop of beauty and peace made it possible to fully embrace the intensive nature of this Yoga Teacher Training, perfectly orchestrated by Vidya Heisel of Frog Lotus Yoga, her staff and the staff at La Diosa. I came away with so much more than a certification to teach yoga. I have a new appreciation for the history of yoga, a new respect for the practice, which is so much more than perfecting poses, and a desire to continue learning and growing on my own. Thank you Vidya and La Diosa!

The teacher training in Costa Rica with Frog Lotus is an experience not to be missed. It is a challenging three weeks no doubt but if you go with a sense of open-mindedness, the rewards are great. The training deepened my yoga practice immensely as well as helping me to look at the world with a kinder, gentler heart. The fellow trainees were brilliant, all compassionate and unique. Vidya has so much knowledge and experience that it was truly a fantastic opportunity to train with her.
