Treat yourself to an opportunity of spending quality time to develop your personal practice or teaching skillset in the Berkshires. This week-long immersion offers the time and surroundings to uniquely deepen your experience in Hatha, Slow Flow, and/or Vinyasa Yoga as a practitioner or teacher. The program is constructed in such a way that you get to choose your own schedule and areas of focus.
Are you a new teacher or experienced teacher in need of an inspirational boost for your teaching? What specific guidance and advice do you need to take your practice to the next level? You decide on your schedule for the week base upon your individual needs. Throughout the program you can gift yourself however much time you need dedicated to your own practice. Or, you can choose to assist, observe, or socialize and network with FLY friends and colleagues. You decide how much you want to participate in on-going classes at the studio and what classes would best nourish your personal practice or aid in filling-out your teaching capabilities.
The week will include:

Morning meditation and Master-Class practice.

'FLY Teacher Pass' to assist, observe, or take any of the ongoing classes scheduled at the Frog Lotus Yoga studio.

'Training Session', which includes assist development, reviews on verbal cueing, and time for Advanced Practice with seasoned support from Jennifer.

Learn how to guide students through intelligent sequencing and safely instruct them into more advanced postures.

'Roundtable Discussions' with all participants to explore questions, challenges, and the role of a yoga teacher.
The approximate daily schedule is:
6.30-7.00am—Meditation
7.00-9.00—Master-Class Practice
2-4pm—Training Session
*Optional: morning & evening yoga classes are available to take, assist, or observe

Jennifer will lead and oversee the apprenticeship. She has over 10 years of experience teaching ongoing classes, privates, and workshops. She teaches and trains yoga teacher trainees internationally and has owned the FLY studio in the Berkshires for the past four years. In this program, Jennifer joyously shares her experience as a teacher, her heart, and her home of Frog Lotus Yoga Studio.
About the Accommodation and Meals:
Shared accommodations for the apprenticeship program are available near the Beaver Mill for an additional $125. Space is limited. Contact Jennifer if you wish to reserve a place. Otherwise, there are many hotels, B&B's, and campsites nearby if you are visiting the Berkshires. It is recommended that students arrive in the area on Sunday to get acquainted or reacquainted with the studio, get settled with housing and be prepared to start with Monday morning practice.
To minimize the training's cost, teachers coming for the apprentice program are able to shop and prepare their own meals or visit local cafes and restaurants. Please also note it is program policy that no meat be brought to the resident house or studio. It is requested that all participants eat a vegetarian diet throughout the week.
Although specifically designed for those who have completed the Frog Lotus Yoga 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training, teachers who have graduated from other Yoga Alliance approved 200-hr YTT programs and whom want to immerse themselves in a week of learning, sharing, and practicing are most welcome to apply. Teachers interested must apply and provide graduation documentation from their 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training. Frog Lotus Yoga Graduates will be given priority as space is limited.
