Lindsey will be teaching a special workshop in Yin Yang Yoga:

In Yin the long-held passive poses allows the energy to reach the deeper connective tissues of the joints. The prana (or life force) stimulates and tones the joints' deep connective tissues, increasing the supply of fluids to them, making them less dense and enabling them to stretch appropriately. As a result, we become more flexible, our joints become "juicier," and energy blocks are removed, enabling the whole body to function better. In Yang a fluid movement of poses are linked together by the breath. Creating heat, muscle strength and allows us to express ourselves energetically. This class will work towards balancing these two practices, finding flow in the stillness, and stillness in the flow.
