"...So much expertise was bestowed on me!"

The teacher training at Frog Lotus not only changed my practice but also rooted me in a confident, competent place to share the gift with others. There are many teacher trainings available, but none with the well-roundedness or heart and soul of the Frog Lotus experience. So much expertise was bestowed on me for the money.

"...go to the training and find out for yourself!"

As a graduate of the FLY training, you will be forever changed for the better. You’ll feel the bond of a very special family of teachers. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the friendships you’ll make with your fellow trainees! Mine will forever be in my heart. Go to the training and find out for yourself!

Her lively classes bring a fresh awareness to timeless principles of skeletal alignment and muscular engagement, that builds strength, skill, and fluidity to support one's personal practice. Her passion for bodywork and Thai Yoga Massage influence her love for teaching 'Hands-On Adjustments for Yoga Asana' which will be an integral part of the training. This will be combined with the unique experience of practicing with the on-going class schedule at the studio. Jennifer's compassion and willingness to hold space for others learning process has made her an accessible mentor and friend to the hundreds of yoga teachers she has trained. She actively contributed to the revised FLY anatomy syllabus and has also cooked for several of the YTT's at the studio. She is a FLY 2013 graduate from the Costa Rica training. Her fascination with the human body came to a forefront during her years as an established vegetarian body builder and personal trainer. She went on to receive certifications in nutrition, lifestyle coaching, and Thai Yoga Massage. Karen has spent over a decade as one of the head farmers of a certified organic farm outside Boston, MA. Practically applying these interrelated fields through years in self-study and practice with multiple teachers, she speaks and teaches from personal experience, her affinity with human transformation and functional anatomy empowers her ability to not only instruct others but inspire lasting change in their lives. This is the compelling force that keeps her continually motivated, and why we are so excited Karen will be on staff. Aside from teaching the anatomy portion of the YTT, she will lead some of the morning yoga classes.

DANIELLE GISMONDI
trained for her first teacher certification in 2006. After teaching through college, she studied with Jennifer Yarro at Frog Lotus Yoga in 2010, and taught at the FLY flagship studio in North Adams, MA for the next 8 years as a senior teacher. To strengthen her hands-on assists she completed 3 modules of Jennifer's Thai Massage training and continues to offer this healing practice in and out of her weekly classes. She has been on faculty for FLY teacher trainings over the years to offer her expertise in sequencing, safe postural alignment and yogic philosophy. Passionate about Hindu mythology and mantra, she often adds stories and chanting to her teaching, as well as her affinity for astrological phases and moon cycles. Danielle's practice and teaching has evolved over the years to integrate philosophy, alignment, levity and reverence in an accessible and engaging way. Her ability to speak to all levels of students and to meet new and old teachers at every level of their practice, makes her a sought after "teacher's teacher." Danielle will lead some morning practices, teach poses and lead some of the philosophy discussions.
