Jennifer Yarro

Jennifer has been a dedicated practitioner of the eastern healing arts for over 20 years and has been teaching yoga full-time for over 15, both within the U.S. and internationally. With her extensive experience and depth of knowledge, Jennifer has become a well-known, highly respected, and sought out teacher. She is very passionate about the integrity of one's practice and strives to meticulously and authentically impart her knowledge to her students. 

In 2008, Jennifer became the owner and director of Frog Lotus Yoga Studio, taking the torch from the founder Vidya Heisel. Jennifer has been teaching residential 2-4 week Yoga Teacher Trainings at the studio and internationally with Frog Lotus Yoga for the past 11 years. Aside from being adjunct faculty for several other trainings and helping others design their programs, Jennifer offers 200 hour, 300 hour, & 1000 hour trainings in Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga with a focus on alignment-based asana which is yoga therapy informed.

 

In addition to studying various styles and schools of yoga, part of Jennifer's journey entailed extensive training in anatomy and massage therapy and ultimately, a specialization in the modality of Thai Massage. Jennifer made frequent visits to Thailand to study with well-respected Thai masters and built a thriving private massage practice in the Boston area. In 2006, Jennifer co-founded the New England School of Thai Yoga, which became the Triple Gem School of Thai Massage in 2011, one of most respected training schools for traditional Thai Massage.

 

Jennifer now combines her love of yoga, meditation, and hands-on bodywork skills to teach the teachers. One of Jennifer's pillars is 'longevity'. She is passionate about sharing impactful skills that support the individuals' practice, and takes great joy when those tools ripple out into the community as people share them. ELLEN DILTHEY quickly recognized the joy and healing support of a yoga practice and has been teaching yoga for over a decade. She is passionate about making yoga accessible for everyone and welcomes beginners and seasoned practitioners of all ages and abilities to her classes. Ellen actively learns about new and innovative methods to bring yoga into the lives of students with physical limitations or challenges. Through a caring and nurturing approach, she guides students to explore yoga as an opportunity to create balance, self-awareness, and a deeper sense of well being in all areas of daily life. When not teaching yoga, you will find her fingers dancing on a piano or carpooling her lovely family all over New England. Ellen completed her 200-hour training with Kripalu Yoga in 2007.

Elysia Nelson

ELYSIA NELSON teaches yoga to inspire people to tap into their innate loving, strong, and intuitive sense of being. She emphasizes mindful alignment-based movement and her classes provide a safe yet challenging space to increase strength, flexibility, balance, and resilience in both the body and mind. With a goal of empowering people to realize their own potential, Elysia hopes to instill lessons and spark insights for students on the mat so they can mirror their learning in other aspects of their lives. When not teaching or practicing yoga, she loves to cook healthy meals, see live music, and ground in nature. Elysia completed her 200-hour training with Lotus Seed Yoga in Portland, Oregon in 2018 and is currently seeking her 500-hour certification with Frog Lotus Yoga in Spain.

GAIL SOOKEY attended her first yoga class in 2009 and was immediately hooked. She quickly saw the many benefits of a yoga practice including strength, flexibility, stress relief, and an overall balancing of mind and body. Gail feels strongly that yoga is truly for everyone, and that wherever you are on a given day in your yoga practice is exactly where you need to be. She believes that even a simple focus on the breath can allow any student to enjoy the countless benefits of yoga. Gail hopes to bring yoga to as many diverse groups of people that normally wouldn’t have the opportunity to be exposed to it. She enjoys spending time with her family and dogs in the beautiful Berkshires. Gail completed her 200-hour training with Frog Lotus Yoga in Thailand in 2018.

Hope Aguilera 

HOPE AGUILERA is a California-born yogi converted to nature loving, gardening, and foraging Vermonter. She was trained in Ashtanga-based vinyasa yoga in Concord, New Hampshire. She is an artist and art teacher, and brings creative energy to her yoga practice and teaching. In her classes expect fun and invigorating sequences, the energizing fluidity of a vinyasa practice, the focus and challenge of ashtanga tradition, and the heavy alignment-based safety of Anusara. Hope is currently working toward her 500-hour certification through Soma Yoga Institute, focusing on therapeutic applications of yoga, Anusara yoga based alignment, yin yoga, and yogic philosophy.

200-HOUR WITH YOGA NEW HAMPSHIRE

KARIN LANDRY first became intrigued by yoga as a teenager living in Germany. When she started to practice yoga so many years ago, Karin was eager to learn the poses, but soon realized that over time a subtle transformation was taking place. She became healthier, more grounded, and content. Over the years, she has studied and practiced many different styles of yoga, including Kripalu, Iyengar, Anusara, Hatha, and Forrest Yoga. Karin brings both gentleness and strength to her Vinyasa flow classes and focuses on safety, alignment, and creative sequencing. Karin completed her 200-hour training with Frog Lotus Yoga in 2002.

Lauren Vining

LAUREN VINING deeply believes in the power of community, and aspires to be not only a teacher, but a lifetime student. She seeks to share with others the health and wellbeing that a safe, steady yoga practice and supportive community can bring. With her background as a dancer, she brings grace, poise, and details to her classes. Lauren appreciates art and creativity in all forms, particularly music and dance, which has translated to a teaching style that is flowing and expressive. When not offering group or private yoga classes, you'll find her practicing Thai Bodywork or working in her garden. Lauren completed her 200-hour training with Frog Lotus Yoga in Costa Rica in 2013.

LINDSAY MCGINNIS has studied many types of yoga including Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, and Yin. Her teaching is focused on Hatha Yoga Interdisciplinary, using the physical aspect of yoga to create balance within a busy lifestyle. Though she lives a fast-paced life, Lindsay loves to slow down and share the benefits of yoga with anyone ready to smile, breathe, and sink into their asana practice. Lindsay is inspired by her passion for nature and the outdoors to keep her practice playful and centered in a mind, body, and spirit connection. You might see her in a yoga pose on top of a mountain, in the river or under the trees. Lindsay completed her 200-hour training with Frog Lotus Yoga in 2008.

Lindsay McGinnis

Makaius "Kai"

Makaius, currently 3 years old, avidly shares his passion of teaching and instructing yoga-āsana, Thai Massage, modern dance, and storytelling with others. As the son of Jennifer Yarro, owner of FLY & Triple Gem School of Thai Massage, he has attended and taught at numerous yoga and Thai massage trainings around the globe; including Spain & Thailand. Makaius is known for his curly locks, bright smile, loud laugh, and slight shyness at first encounter. His students often find him sporadically running in and out of classes chasing after random items.
